We had great turnout and our teams are getting ready for opening day. Please look for opportunities to volunteer and help share some of the tasks that we need to take care of for a successful season. Reach out if you can help with concessions, field maintenance, fund raising, or anything else you might be able to do for our kids.

The Babe Ruth of Palatka program, using regulation competitive baseball and softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. In all aspects, Babe Ruth League, Inc. is committed to providing our participants the very best educational, sports experience possible. It is our fundamental belief that every child in Putnam County with a desire to play baseball or softball be afforded that opportunity.

Our League is officially underway and we need all the help we can get to make this season a true success.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  Coaches, assistant coaches, and UMPIRES are needed.  Our program is growing and we are in need of parents and friends to step forward and help ensure our kids have the best experience possible!  You can contribute by signing- up to volunteer for coaching, dugout duty, field maintenance, or umpiring games. You can also volunteer to join our field maintenance team where you can be added to get updates on work days for field improvements and general maintenance and upkeep of the park and fields. Our league is solely based on volunteers and we need a larger team of volunteers to assist our GROWING LEAGUE at Francis Youth Complex and John Theobold Complex to  make this season and success and continue to make this league grow. Umpires Needed!!  We are always looking for umpires for baseball and softball.  If you are interested, please contact us through our website or Facebook and let us know.  We will get in touch with you regarding requirements and training!

Palatka and Putnam County have a long-standing tradition with the Babe!  That tradition continues with our youth sports program for T Ball, Softball, Baseball and Advanced Baseball!  Come join us and carry on the Tradition!

We encourage all of our parents and coaches to download the SportsEngine App to your smart phone to keep up with the team events and communications for changes in practice schedule or even rain outs. It will have the game schedule with field location for each of your games on the schedule, we are currently working on adding practices to that system at this time. Your Player has already been entered into the SportsEngine system, you just need to use your primary email used for registration and you will be able to login to access account.  If your unable to access this years team, just logout of the app and log back in and it will update with this seasons information. If you have any issues please contact us at baberuthofpalatka@gmail.com so we can assist you with any type of password reset.
